This workshop is designed for anyone who’s curious about headstands but hasn’t yet found consistency, ease, or confidence. Whether you’re still using the wall, popping up for a second before tipping over, or craving a deeper understanding of your body in inversion — you’ll leave with tools, knowledge, and a renewed sense of trust in yourself.
In the peaceful, high-ceilinged space at MoreYoga Battersea, we’ll explore the headstand (Sirsasana) and tripod headstand through clear guidance, hands-on support, and a strong foundation in functional anatomy — so you can move beyond fear and into stillness, strength, and balance.
What You’ll Learn:
The anatomy of a strong, safe headstand — not just how to do it, but why it works
How to engage the right muscles: shoulders, core, glutes, and beyond
Safe entry and exit strategies (no more flinging yourself up and hoping for the best)
The difference between Tripod and Sirsasana headstands — and how to approach both
Techniques for balancing without the wall
How to fall safely
Extra variations or drills depending on the group’s pace and energy

Hands-On Support, Always
You’ll receive plenty of hands-on adjustments and 1:1 feedback throughout the session. You'll be fully supported — physically and emotionally — every step of the way. This is a space to feel safe, ask questions, wobble, and grow.

About Your Teacher
With further study in anatomy, I’ll guide you through this practice with an emphasis on understanding your body. You won’t just be told what to do — you’ll learn how to create stability from the inside out. Expect thoughtful progressions, simple breakdowns, and an atmosphere of curiosity, exploration, and support.
